We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful community that has supported us over the years. We have had many wonderful people pass through our program as students, teachers or community members. We give a minimum of three scholarships each year in honor of three wonderful people who made a difference in the lives of our students. As our beloved high school has been closed, we have committed to continue with our scholarship while funding remains. These scholarships will be available for students who attended El Molino High School and actively participated in the agriculture program and have now moved to the West County High Agriculture program.
The Harold Johnson Scholarship of Excellence is dedicate to Mr. J - who for 20 years was the Ag Teacher at El Molino High School. Mr J inspired many of his students to follow agriculture in their future education and career decisions. He has always been a cheer leader for our Booster group and all the students of El Molino High and Forestville FFA.
Our second scholarship is dedicated in memory of Saralee McCelland Kunde - one of our strongest supporters! Saralee worked tirelessly to bring funding and community support to our program and her family hosted the County BBQ for many years in Richards Grove. Her love of agriculture and working with you showed in everything she did!
Our third scholarship is the Lynn Kracker Memorial. Lynn was an important part of our Booster Committee and served as President for two years. Both Lynn's girls, Rebecca and Janet graduated from El Molino after very successful FFA careers.
Applications for the 2022 scholarships will be available in May 2022. If you have questions please call 707-490-2607.
